Background & Experience
The voice of advocacy. When it matters.
In the world of advocacy narration, Regina Hopper brings a rare combination of lived experience, professional excellence, and purposeful storytelling.
From a childhood spent watching election returns at the county courthouse with her father to a career shaped by law, journalism, public policy, and leadership, Regina’s path has always centered around the power of the voice — and the responsibility that comes with it.
As an Emmy Award–winning journalist, she covered the White House and Capitol Hill for CBS News and contributed to the national anchor desk and 48 Hours. As an attorney, she specializes in juror and media strategic communications, including crisis response. Her executive leadership spans serving major national trade associations in trucking, telecommunications, energy, and intelligent transportation systems.
Regina also led the Miss America Organization through a historic cultural transition, retiring the swimsuit competition and repositioning the program to champion women as agents of change.
Today, she channels this depth of experience into her narration work, focusing on nonfiction titles that inform, inspire, and activate — especially those centered on advocacy, policy, and impact. Her voice — authoritative, compelling, and trusted — is a natural fit for authors and organizations seeking to educate, influence policy, or inspire action. Whether the message is meant to drive change or deepen understanding, Regina delivers with clarity, empathy, and conviction.
She currently serves as Board Chair of Flapper House Productions producing documentary content on Gen Z voting, President of the Arkansas Alumni Association National Board of Directors, and is a board member of both the Vital Voices DC Council and the Arkansas State Society. Regina also volunteers with the Audio Publishers Association, various advocacy groups, and is a proud member of the Professional Audiobook Narrators Association as well as SAG-AFTRA.
She holds a JD and BA from the University of Arkansas and is a graduate of the Executive Program at Harvard Business School.
Off the mic, Regina finds joy in music, classical ballet, world travel, chasing ocean and desert sunsets — and never says no to frozen yogurt with chocolate chips.
